Two years after the Battle of Yavin, Commander Alec Trellian - head of Imperial Internal Affairs - started to suspect the Empire was a bit of a sinking ship. Having always been an independent-minded sort of chap, Alec left the Empire with his closest confidants - completely erasing any record of their existence - people and data alike. Alec used his contacts from being an Imperial, as well as many he'd built up investigating dodgy goings-on within the Empire, in his new venture - XII.
