The date of Melasune's reign is unknown. In accordance with her grandmother's treaty of alliance with the Aes Sedai, Melasune was sent to Tar Valon for schooling in the art of politics as a young woman. When her mother died in FY 1035, Melasune's own brothers had been killed in battle during the War of the Hundred Years, leaving her to take the Lion Throne of Andor. She ruled for eleven years before dying in FY 1046. She was succeeded by Termylle. It is not known whether Termylle was her daughter or not.
