"Funiculì, Funiculà" is a Neapolitan song composed to commemorate the opening of the first funicular cable car on Mount Vesuvius. "Italian Clown" is sung to the tune of "Funiculì, Funiculà" by Peter Griffin in "Brian the Closer" when he attempts to calm down Quagmire who wants out of a house that Brian sold him. When they arrive at Quahog Realty to find that Brian isn't there, Peter starts to play around with a paper drinking cone at the water cooler, pretending to be a clown in an Italian opera.
