Sin and Punishment is a series of video games that debuted on the Nintendo 64 with Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Earth. The game was never released on the American or PAL Nintendo 64, though was eventually released through the Virtual Console service. The series is developed by Treasure Co. Ltd and published by Nintendo. A sequel to the game was announced in October 2nd of 2008 for the Wii titled Sin and Punishment 2, which has been confirmed for Japan and America. One of the protagonists of the original, Saki Amamiya, appeared in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii as an Assist Trophy.
