The Kobbane system was a star system located in the Expansion Region, between the Inner-rim and the Mid-rim .It had a total of seven planets that orbited around it's central star Arius. Five of these planets were inhabitable and able to support life, whilst the other two were gas giants. The Kobbane system was first discovered by space fearing travellers around 20,000 BBY. The people in the Kobbane system prided themselves in being self-reliant, but they did occassionally deal with outsiders.
