During the rule of the Infinite Empire, the Rakata species built at least four space stations, including the Star Forge, the Foundry, and a station that could xenoform entire planets. Estimated to have been built sometime between 35,000 BBY and the fall of the Infinite Empire around 25,000 BBY, the station was discovered by the Sith Empire sometime before the Galactic War.
