The album is set to be released on August 4, 2009 under the label of Walt Disney Records It includes songs from and inspired by the TV series as well as songs from Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie. Bonus content for the soundtrack features exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews with the protagonist of the series, Selena Gomez, and also her new music video.
