The Clifton Roadrunners Club was established in 1978. The club is comprised for more than 200 runners from Clifton, Kearny, Lyndhurst, Nutley, Belleville, Montclair, Bloomfield, Passaic, Paterson, Wayne, Ocean Grove, Toms River, Lincoln Park, Prospect Park, Elmwood Park, Harrison, Rutherford, Wallington and many of the surrounding towns. The club participates in all areas of running from track, Ultra marathons, bi and triathlons. Race times range from 17:00 to 45 minutes for the 5k, marathon times from 2:52 to 6:30: beginner, recreational or competitive runners are welcome.
