The Treasury Chamber was a large room in the center of the Heartrock of Sanctaphrax, where stormphrax was stored. In the absolute darkness of the treasury, the stormphrax became immensely heavy--heavy enough to anchor down the Sanctaphrax rock, preventing it from breaking its moorings and drifting off into Open Sky forever.
