In December 1992, during a visit by the Seventh Doctor and Ace, St Christopher's was removed from the village and placed on the Moon by the Timewyrm, along with several inhabitants of the village. The church was later returned to its original location. (PROSE: Timewyrm: Revelation) The following year, Ace and the Seventh Doctor returned to meet their resident friends. (PROSE: Cathedral Heart) In 2017, the Eighth Doctor spent Christmas at the Black Swan pub in Cheldon Bonniface with his companion Ayfai and Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart.
