NIRO 001, or short 'Niro' was a prototype 'Neuro-artificial Intelligent Robotic Operative' created and manufactured by the Imperial Inquisitorius' Research & Science Department on Byss. The mastermind behind this advanced prototype was Grand Inquisitor Curwen Carfield, expanding on his previous experiences with bio-artificial intelligences he had created under dubious circumstances. NIRO 001 was primarily used for infiltration and espionage purposes but would also take over protocol functions while stationed at the Inquisitorius base on Byss or when the mission asked for such functions.
