Rissala is a town and municipality in the province of Eastern Savonia, state of Finland, Ugrian Union. It is a part of Kuopio metropolitan area. The surrounding municipalities are Kuopio in southwest, Lamperila in west, Pulkko and Maaninka in north, Siilinjärvi in east and Riistavesi in south.
