You have different kind of solutions. You can easily share your printer over the network, meaning the the computer that is attached to the printer had to be powered on if you want to print. You can also buy a networkcard for a printer (some printers have that option, others need an USB to UTP adapter). Some home routers also provide a print port, so you can just attach your printer to the router.
