The Union was a flag on the Midnight Ocean. It was a failed experiment rising from the ashes of Nyx's Scions' crews, Black Death, and various other crews. Ruled by Potato for its brief life, it was deemed too radical to fit into the political climate of Midnight. After it fell apart, Black Death split off, while many of the other crews helped form Carpe Noctem.
