The gargoyle is the second tier unit of the Warlock faction in Heroes of Might and Magic II, recruited by building a crypt in a Warlock town. The gargoyle is one of three flying units of the Warlock faction. While their attack and damage is fairly low, they are possessed of unusually high defense and speed. However, they have low hit points, so they should be used mindfully to avoid situations where they may be overwhelmed.
