Louis "Lou" C. Tsioropoulos (born August 31 1930 in Lynn, Massachusetts) is a retired American professional Basketball player who played for the NBA's Boston Celtics for three seasons from 1956-1959. Tsioropoulos played college basketball at the University of Kentucky under legendary coach Adolph Rupp. As a sophomore in 1951 he was a member of Kentucky's 1951 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament team, the Wildcats defeating Kansas State 68-58 in the Championship game. Tsioropoulos' #16 jersey was retired by his alma mater and he is in the University of Kentucky Athletics Hall of Fame.
