Morowyn's house was located in the center of an ancient forest to the west of Castle Daventry on top of a promontory. The top of the promontory was surrounded by a hedge with two pillars marking the entrance. A gap in the hedge would would open between the two pillars if someone said the phrase, "Open for a Friend". Inside of the hedge was a grove of trees with Morowyn's simple house constructed of rough timbers in the center.
