Margery Withers was born 23 October, 1905 and died 6 September, 1999 in Pinner. She was a British actress who played Harriet Thorpe in Coronation Street, she has also been in Dangerfield, The Bill, EastEnders, Minder, Z Cars, The Evacuees, Crown Court, Dixon of Dock Green, The Gentle Touch, Pie in the Sky, Peak Practice, Grange Hill, The Buccaneers, Dangerfield, Hamish Macbeth, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, Where the Heart Is, and The Wednesday Play.
