Nation Song Contest 139 was hosted by Perryfornia solo for the second time (for the third time when including their debut joint hosting with Zaprya in NSC 66). The edition was themed after Perryfornia's NSC 94 entry 'Who Am I' by Tiny Dancer, and this theme was reflected in the show and semifinal results using banners which only partially decoded each nation's name. Aimūlli emerged victorious for the first time in only their second final showing since their debut, albeit with an artist who achieved their second victory after 10 editions, Susanne Sundfør, with 'Kamikaze'.
