The Black colobus or Satanic black colobus (Colobus satanas), is a species of black-and-white colobus in the Cercopithecidae. This colobus is considered by some to be the most primitive of the colobus monkeys. The black colobus has dark skin under a long black coat of fur and a long black tail. Males of this species can weigh up to 24.25 lb (11 kg).
