"Got You on the Run" is a pop song by singer Bruno Mars, and was one of his songs with an irate set of lyrics. It was released in 2008 from his album "The New Hottie", which was the final Bruno Mars album with the Sony BMG label as well as the final album before the singer's temporary resignation due to the disestablishment of BMG when it was being sold to Japan's Sony Corperation of America. Bruno Mars later re-launched his music career in September 2009 when he signed a brand new record deal with Elektra Records and continued to release new albums and singles.
