Death Volcano is the third stage of world 5, Gehenna. This level takes place in a smoke-filled volcano that comes in three distinct sections. The first section requires leaping over pools of lava while evading the various enemies that inhabit the path. The second part is when the volcano unsurprisingly erupts, forcing the player to climb up and out to evade the approaching lava. The final section is the plains outside of the volcano, where lava drops from the sky at timed intervals.
