Athonk is an Indonesian comic artist who spent time in Australia, mostly in Melbourne, from 1997 to 1999. The 'Rock and Roll Cool Cat' has since visited the States and now resides in Yogyakarta (central Java, Indonesia). He is married to academic and author Laine Berman and plays in a rock band, 'Black Boots'.
