Not much is known about his early life. In the middle of his Spartan training he was personally trained by ONI. After achieving standard expectation of all the tests he was given, David was transfer into a early Spartan III program. ONI had reviewed his progress and had then dicided to put him in Cryo Sleep. After 25 years without being awaken he was finally waken and was ready to be deployed into battle.
