He later learned to follow orders after Shimmerpool rescued him from almost drowning. Shimmerpool's second apprentice is Lightstream, one of Yellowflower's last kits. Lightstream shared a dream that Shimmerpool loved, to swim. The two of them became very close and are still best friends.
