This wiki is only for Canonical information - that is to say, only what is in the books gets in. If Anne McCaffrey says something in a speech about Pern, it doesn't count. All Todd McCaffrey's work is considered canonical, unless it comes into direct conflict with Anne McCaffrey's work. The most important example of this conflict is as follows: Here we can see why this could be confusing. However, for the purposes of this Wiki Anne McCaffrey's opinion overrides Todd's (she did write Pern, after all).
