Death Cleaver is an elite unique Berserker Axe from Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Besides its high damage output, attack speed, and reduction of enemy defense (useful bonuses which seem to be variably shared by other powerful unique axes), Death Cleaver's true virtue lies in its ability of Deadly Strike. Its chance of inflicting Deadly Strike, although high enough as it is, could even be combined with that of equipment such as Lance Guard, giving a player double damage with almost every hit. With its high chance of a Deadly Strike, this item is greatly sought after by duelers.
