Gone with the Dragon was the eighth book written by Professor Pinkston about his studies of wildlife on Windstride. Although it was a scholarly work about the migrations of Pinkston's dragons, critics picked up on its bitter tone, a result of the professor's disappointment at not becoming a holostar.
