The oblivion gloves are the most powerful gloves in the game. The completion of The Outcast is required in order to be able to wear them. Like all other Oblivion items, the gloves themselves require 120 Defence. Combined with the Outcast sword, the rest of the Oblivion armour and the Amulet of destruction, this would make the player merely invincible.
