High on the north ridge of the valley was located the tomb of the Asirac. The opening of which was set into the rock outcropping. The path to the tomb no longer existed. There once was a stone shelf that led up to the tomb, but the shelf has long since fallen away from erosion. The tomb was marked by an opening in the rock that was faced with large scrollwork carvings that once were quite beautiful, but later the artwork behind the carvings was barely visible.
