Heather Bleasdale appeared on Coronation Street during October 2013 as Jane Rayner who, like Hayley Cropper, had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. In an extensive CV, her other credits include roles in Wing and a Prayer, Grafters, Waking the Dead, Judge John Deed, Mersey Beat, Where the Heart Is, EastEnders, Heartbeat, Silent Witness, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, The Bill, Doctors and DCI Banks. She also appeared in the 2002 feature film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
