Jackson was a Havenite citizen and an officer of the People's Navy. Holding the rank of Lieutenant, he served as the commanding officer of the courier boat that returned Admiral Thomas Theisman and People's Commissioner Denis LePic to the Haven System at the time of Esther McQueen's coup attempt.
