The Nixmas Tree is a conifer, decorated with mementos from President Nixon's time in office. In 2008, Kevin Bacon helped Dr. Colbert trim the Nixmas Tree with a garland of 18 hours of blank tape. The Nixmas Tree was topped with a Nixon Angel, flashing the characteristic victory signs. 2008 Ornaments on the Nixmas Tree include John Lennon's passport, Air Force One, and one of Nixon's jowls. As a continuation of the celebration of Nixon, the Nixmas tree will be burned down with napalm on December 26th.Episode #489
