The Chenar were a Vulcanoid species with characteristics of both the Vulcans and the Romulans, as well as other, unidentifiable features. They existed twenty-six thousand years after 2381, but had no knowledge of the Vulcans or the Romulans. They also displayed emotion, implying they do not follow the teachings of Surak. A Chenar named Temarel served on the Axis Council in the Axis of Time representing her time period. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)
