The GRGR121EX features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a reverse headstock and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a hard-tail bridge and dual Ibanez Powersound humbucking pickups. In 2009, it was available in Black Night and Candy Apple finishes, a White finish was added in 2010. It returned unchanged for 2011, save for a new headstock decal. The GRGR09LTD is a related limited-edition model.
