A Pokémon Watcher (Japanese: ポケモンウォッチャー Pokémon watcher) is a Pokémon Trainer who decides to study Pokémon in their natural habitats rather than battling, trading or trying to become a Pokémon Master. Pokémon Watchers travel across the regions to look for all types of Pokémon, so they can observe and study them. Many also search for undiscovered Pokémon.
