The 1966 Speedy Morelock 200, named for racecar driver, Speedy Morelock, was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Middle Georgia Raceway on May 10, 1966. Richard Petty won his third straight race, leading 159 of the 200 laps in route to a nineteen-second victory on Tom Pistone. David Pearson, the eventual season champ, did not compete in the event.
