Duke Kenussen D'Avore was a historical figure, a member of the House of K’azz D’Avore who fought a battle against the Royal Untan army in around 1060 BS. He was likely related to Prince K'azz D'Avore and there is some speculation that the two might even be identical given the age of the Prince and supposed timeline for the inception of the Crimson Guard.
