The New Maker Series takes place during Final Fantasy XIII-2 and starts during the last battles of Final Fantasy XIII, the collapse of Cocoon starts off a chain of events that lead to a war between two group of Celestial Beings, that fight for succession to Fell Lindzei (Lindzei) and Hallowed Pulse (the Maker)'s leadership of the World: Humanity or fal'Cie.
