The obsidian gargoyle is the upgrade to the stone gargoyle, the second-tier Tower unit in Heroes of Might and Magic III. It can be recruited from the Upgraded Parapet. With a slight increase in attack, defense and speed, this is a useful upgrade, but not worth the cost if money is tight.
