Captain Cheeva was a young hare in the Long Patrol first under Lady Cregga Rose Eyes, and later Russano the Wise. When she was younger, she wanted to join the patrol, but was deemed too young to go out. Colonel Eyebright deemed her officer material, and Cheeva was trained as Garrison Captain at Salamandastron.
