In late 2373, USS Voyager was taken over by Nyrians and all of Voyager's 148 crewmembers was forcibly relocated to this Earth-like habitat. According to Tuvok, the habitat had ten living compounds spread over approximately four square kilometers, surrounded on all sides by wilderness. In all directions, the wilderness consisted of natural obstacles such as a sheer cliff or an impassable river, designed to keep the inhabitants from exploring too far.
