Kira Zetsu is a modified white Zetsu created by Ashura Uchiha in order to act as his sentinel and spy on his enemies, Ashura had Kira Zetsu infiltrate Danzo's Foundation to learn of Danzo's plans. Once Ashura learned of Danzo's plans to use the Akatsuki to capture Naruto and attack the village so that he could place a puppet hokage in power, Ashura decided to have Kira Zetsu, Oda Uchiha, and Shisui Uchiha (Sparks) aid in the attack so that he can capture Kurama and ultimately place an Uchiha in the position of Hokage, that will serve Indra's goals.
