Joseph A. Longo was a mid-24th century Human male Starfleet officer. In 2367, he served aboard the USS Brattain. He died from sleep deprivation in that year. After his body was recovered from the science vessel, Doctor Beverly Crusher, of the USS Enterprise-D, completed an autopsy report on this officer. She listed his cause of death as possible cardiac arrest. (TNG: "Night Terrors" ) This character was only mentioned in writing. Longo was played by background actor S. Moriarty. He was named after property master Joe Longo. The character's name was from a PADD. [1]
