Agustin Juan Francisco de Iturbide y Hapsburg (5 December 1898 - 18 February 1930) reigned as Agustin V of Mexico from 1917 until 1930, when he died in a fatal automobile accident. A young and progressive Emperor who presided over the signing of the Constitution of Mexico in 1920 after the passing of various reformist laws the year prior, his death was a significant blow to the liberal movement in Mexico during the 1920's and paved the way for the gradual industrialization of Mexico by various foreign interests. Due to the spike of American corporate interventionism in Mexico during the 1930's, many suspect that foul play was involved in his death.
