Erin Haith was born to Florence McCarny. Her mother was 19 when she was born and Erin was raised in her grandparent's home. Erin's father left when she was still young and when Erin was 4, her mother remarried to a man named Richard Haith. Erin's mother soon bought an apartment to raise Erin. Erin attended Greensberg Intermediate, a Catholic school which cost $4000. Before entering college, Erin had a summer romance with a boy named Scott Turner (an unseen character). Both of Erin's maternal grandparents were Irish immigrants.
