Bogwyn is a Mu'adash. She saved R.J. Harrison from drowning in a tar pit. Because she saved his life according the Mu'adash custom his life then belonged to her. Later on however, Harrison saved her from a Tlak'kahn attack. Bogwyn and Harrison agreed this made them even so the life debt was over. When Harrison had to leave the Mu'adash planet Bogwyn mourned.
