Emma Ashton played two roles on Coronation Street: in May 2004 she appeared as Jemma Marsden, the wife of Tim Marsden who was having an affair with an unsuspecting Candice Stowe and she returned to the programme as DC Collins in August 2006 who arrested and questioned Danny Baldwin over the suppression of a second will left by his late father, Mike. She has also appeared in Heartbeat, Fat Friends, The Royal and Doctors.
