These are metal gloves given to Saya Kohaku by her sensei, Cho Li. They are meant to power up her punches. The knuckles are fitted with iron spikes that not only add more force, but can even do damage to armor. She can also use them to block attacks, as the rigid gloves can act like armor themselves. Since the gauntlets are metal, they are quite heavy. To properly wield them, Saya had to undergo strength training with Cho Li. This usually included wearing training weights on her wrists and ankles.
