Mr. Scruff(VEM122) was born on August 12, 2006 in the Elveera. His mother was Jo Jo Hello and Habusu the dominant male. He had on litter-mate named Scrawny(VEF121). Since his mother was the dominant female Mr. Scruff and his sisters were the main focus of the entire Eveera mob. Both pups survived their first few weeks and started foraging with the adults. A few months later his mother later gave birth to VEP123 but the pup later died. Mr. Scruff and his sister made it to adulthood and started helping out around the mob by taking a sentry post or babysitting. The Elveeera was a good size group, and several members were fitted with collars. In October 2008 Mr. Scruff went roving with his uncle Ash and half brother Gijima. Tuberculosis struck the group while they were away.
